Tenure Track Professorship in Philosophy of the Middle Ages and/or Early Modern Period

The University of Vienna is internationally recognized for its excellence in teaching and research. The Faculty of Philosophy and Education is offering a Tenure Track Professorship in Philosophy of the Middle Ages and/or Early Modern Period. The successful candidate will have a proven research focus in medieval philosophy and/or early modern philosophy, contributing to the international development of the history of philosophy. The position requires the development of an independent research line and the ability to enhance the visibility and impact of existing research areas. Candidates should possess a PhD, two years of international research experience, and demonstrate outstanding research achievements and teaching capabilities. The position offers the opportunity for a permanent position after a successful evaluation.
