PhD position in Quantum Optics and Imaging: Generation of entangled photon pairs in disordered nonlinear media

The work will be conducted at the Institut des NanoSciences de Paris within the 'Quantum Imaging Paris' team. This PhD is part of the European DISQO project funded by QuantERA, involving collaboration with an international consortium. The thesis aims to control the generation of entangled photon pairs in disordered nonlinear media using wavefront shaping on the pump beam. These quantum sources will be integrated into sensors for ultra-low flux imaging and spectroscopy on biological and chemical samples.
