Professor of Translational Human Genomics (Tenure/Tenure-Track)

The Department of Pediatrics at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level in Translational Human Genomics. The role emphasizes multi-omic approaches to variant analysis, translational genomics, and bioinformatics analytical pipelines, with applications in diagnostics and genetic risk evaluation. Candidates must hold an MD, MD/PhD, PhD, or equivalent and demonstrate expertise in human genetics, genomics-relevant bioinformatics, and translational science. The successful hire will establish an extramurally-funded research program, teach and mentor graduate and medical students, and participate in the UCI Program in Medical Education for the Latino Community (PRIME-LC).
