The Medical Faculty OWL at Bielefeld University is seeking a Research Associate (Postdoc) in General and Visceral Surgery with a focus on liver and tumor biology. The successful candidate will lead experimental work in the EIC-Pathfinder project CHEM-SCAN, investigating tumor stem cells from primary colon carcinomas and their metastases. Responsibilities include developing 3D organoid models, analyzing data, and coordinating with international partners. A PhD in a relevant field and advanced experience with 3D in vitro models are required. Excellent English skills are mandatory.
