Chair of the Department of Radiology

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill seeks an accomplished leader to serve as Chair of the Department of Radiology. This senior role involves strategic leadership across clinical, educational, research, and administrative missions, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, and advancing the Department’s national and international reputation. The Chair will drive innovation in imaging and image-guided care, support faculty recruitment and development, and position the Department for growth amid evolving healthcare and technological challenges. Candidates must hold an MD/DO or equivalent, board certification in Radiology, and eligibility for North Carolina medical licensure, with academic credentials appropriate for appointment at the rank of Professor.
