Postdoctoral Researcher: Photonic Crystal Nanostructures for Strong Atom–Photon Interaction in a Quantum Network

The main objective of this postdoctoral position is to contribute to the development of a new nanophotonic platform compatible with rubidium atoms, aimed at studying quantum electrodynamics in a waveguide configuration. The successful candidate will engage in the design and fabrication of various nanophotonic structures within cleanroom facilities, perform numerical simulations, and characterize optical properties. This research is pivotal for enhancing light-matter interactions, which is essential for advancements in quantum information science and technology.
