Research Scientist (Postdoc)

The University of Göttingen is offering a Postdoc position in the Department of Forest Genetics and Tree Breeding. The successful candidate will engage in a project focused on the genetic basis of growth habit, vigor, and drought stress tolerance in sessile oak. Responsibilities include conducting genome-wide association analyses, developing genomic prediction models, and publishing results. Candidates should possess a PhD in biology, agricultural sciences, or related fields, with proficiency in bioinformatics and experience in GWAS and genomic selection methods.
