Postdoctoral Researcher in Human-Environmental Relations

The Ludwig Uhland Institute for Historical and Cultural Anthropology at the University of Tübingen invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher position in human-environmental relations from an ethnographic and/or historical perspective. The role includes conducting independent research for a Habilitation project, teaching two seminars per semester, and co-organizing a conference. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in European Ethnology, Social/Cultural Anthropology, or related fields, with fluency in German and English. The position is for three years starting April 1, 2027, with a deadline of November 15, 2026.
