Postdoctoral Fellow in Brain Tumor Evolution and Treatment Resistance

A Postdoctoral Fellow position is available in the research group of Veronica Rendo at Uppsala University to lead projects investigating diffuse midline glioma (DMG), a malignant pediatric brain tumor. The role focuses on elucidating mechanisms of response and resistance to standard-of-care treatment and targeted therapies within the ERC-funded project RESET-DMG. The Postdoctoral Fellow will establish barcoded patient-derived models and track them using single-cell multiome technologies to determine transcriptional and epigenetic features defining resistant cells. Responsibilities include experimental design, data analysis, manuscript writing, conference presentations, and student supervision in a collaborative environment.
