Postdoctoral Researcher in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence

Maastricht University seeks a Postdoctoral Researcher to develop advanced multimodal AI methods for the VR-STRESS project. The role involves processing and integrating (neuro)physiological, behavioral, and interaction data to infer user states (stress, cognitive load, attention) and translate these into real-time adaptive VR training systems. The successful candidate will collaborate with psychologists, engineers, and VR developers, publish research findings, and contribute to robust, interpretable models. A PhD in data science, AI, machine learning, computer science, or related fields is required, with experience in signal processing, deep learning, and multimodal data fusion.
