Senior Research Associate: AI-Enabled Behavioural Ecology for Conservation

We are seeking a highly motivated behavioural ecologist to co-lead ecological research within the BEACON programme, which aims to develop an AI-enabled system for monitoring ecosystems and guiding conservation decisions. The role involves designing field experiments and analyses to explore the links between environmental disturbance, animal behaviour, and ecosystem function. Candidates should have a PhD in behavioural ecology or a related field, marine field skills, and a commitment to interdisciplinary research. The position offers training in AI skills and the opportunity to work with an international network of partners.
