The successful candidate will join a team exploring the SU(N) Fermi-Hubbard model, a key model in condensed matter physics. The group has developed a quantum-gas microscope for single-atom imaging of strontium Hubbard systems. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in ultracold atoms/ions or quantum optics, with experience in degenerate Fermi gases or optical lattices valued. The position is funded through the European Flagship project on Quantum Technologies PASQuanS2.
