PhD student: Theory of polaritonic quantum materials

The MPQ Theory team at CNRS and Université Paris Cité is looking for a motivated PhD student to explore how quantum electromagnetic cavity fields and polaritonic effects influence condensed matter systems. The candidate will perform advanced analytical calculations and numerical simulations under the supervision of Prof. Cristiano Ciuti, contributing to scientific publications and presenting at international conferences. A strong background in theoretical methods and excellent communication skills in English are required.
