Research Associate in Machine Learning

The Research Associate will contribute to the development of global AI weather models for sub-seasonal forecasting in Africa, focusing on Ghana and Senegal. Responsibilities include designing AI forecasting systems, integrating remote sensing data, and evaluating AI methods. Candidates should hold or be about to receive a PhD in Computer Science, Information Engineering, or Statistics, with experience in deep learning and software engineering. Teaching may be required. Salary range is £37,694 - £46,049, fixed-term until 31 March 2028.
