This PhD project at the CNRS focuses on the role of NADPH oxidase in neutrophils, particularly in relation to caspase-1-dependent pyroptosis and chronic granulomatous disease (CGD). The research aims to elucidate the molecular mechanisms of NADPH oxidase deficiency and its contribution to inflammation during infections. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Etienne Meunier and Caio Bomfim at the Institute of Pharmacology and Structural Biology in Toulouse, France.
