Postdoc - Thin Film Combinatorial Studies of Hard Magnetic Materials

The candidate will join a team at Institut NÉEL, focusing on the high throughput fabrication and characterization of hard magnetic materials in thin film form. The project emphasizes data-driven development of functional magnetic materials. Key tasks include sputtering compositionally graded thin films, conducting structural and magnetic characterization, and utilizing machine learning for data analysis. The role also involves supervising interns and requires a PhD in experimental physics or materials science, with a solid foundation in magnetism and experience in thin film fabrication.
