The postdoctoral research position at CNRS aims to develop innovative analytical techniques to investigate the degradation mechanisms of oil paintings, particularly those using lake pigments. The successful candidate will work on preparing model samples, developing analytical methods, and analyzing historical paint test panels. This research will contribute to the understanding of material alteration in heritage objects and will be conducted at two laboratories specializing in molecular and structural archaeology and molecular chemistry. Candidates should hold a PhD in Analytical Chemistry and have expertise in separation techniques and mass spectrometry.
