This postdoctoral project aims to enhance X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS) methodologies for studying metallic materials' surface reactivity. The candidate will develop experimental protocols using load-lock chambers to monitor reactivity under controlled atmospheres, correlating XPS results with other characterization techniques. The project is in collaboration with TotalEnergies and will provide insights into surface chemistry relevant for industrial applications. The successful candidate should have a PhD in Chemistry or related fields, experience in surface science, and proficiency in both French and English.
