PhD position on the mechanisms, dynamics, and impact of neuromodulation in the olfactory cortex

We are looking for a highly motivated PhD candidate to investigate the mechanisms, dynamics, and effects of neuromodulation in the olfactory cortex. The research will focus on cholinergic and GABAergic inputs from the basal forebrain, using advanced techniques such as fiber photometry and optogenetic stimulation. The position is fully funded for 36 months and offers a collaborative environment with diverse expertise in neuroscience.
