The Department of Plant and Environmental Sciences at the University of Copenhagen is seeking a postdoctoral researcher in plant biochemistry. This position, funded by the Novo Nordisk Foundation, aims to explore biological nitrification inhibitors (BNIs) to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from fertilizers. The successful candidate will work on identifying new BNI compounds and elucidating their biosynthetic pathways using bioinformatics, biochemistry, and molecular biology.
