Tenure-track Assistant Professor of Eastern European and/or Central European Literature and Culture

The Department of Russian and East European Studies (REES) at the University of Pennsylvania is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Eastern European and/or Central European Literature and Culture. Candidates should have deep training in relevant literatures and cultures, a strong research agenda, and the ability to teach and mentor students. The position requires a PhD by July 1, 2027, and applications will be reviewed starting October 15, 2026.
