Associate Professor or Professor of Anthropology and Curator/Director of the Penn Cultural Heritage Center

The Department of Anthropology at the University of Pennsylvania invites applications for a tenured faculty position and Curator/Director of the Penn Cultural Heritage Center starting in the 2027–28 academic year. We seek an Associate or Full Professor with expertise in archaeology and cultural heritage, particularly with research in the Americas and/or Africa. Responsibilities include teaching, mentoring students, and leading cultural heritage initiatives. Review of applications begins on November 1, 2026.
