Research Associate in Enzyme Engineering and Biocatalysis

Join Dr. Godwin Aleku’s research team at King’s College London as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in enzyme engineering and biocatalysis. You will work on developing enzymatic CO₂-fixation platforms for sustainable pharmaceutical synthesis, engineering decarboxylases to create multi-enzyme pathways for synthesizing pharmaceutical intermediates from CO₂ and biomass. A PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field is required, along with hands-on experience in enzyme engineering and biocatalytic applications. This full-time position offers a fixed-term contract until February 2028, with opportunities for professional development.
