Professor of Psychiatry

The University of Oulu is looking for a Professor of Psychiatry to join the Research Unit of Clinical Medicine. The successful candidate will plan and develop regional specialist training for physicians, supervise scientific research in psychiatry, and enhance the visibility of psychiatric services. Applicants should have a doctoral degree in Medicine with a clinical specialty in Psychiatry, strong research management experience, and fluency in English and Finnish. The position is fixed-term for five years, starting January 1, 2027, with a salary based on Finnish university scales.
