PostDoc (m/f/d) in the DFG Research Group 'Forest Floor'

The project focuses on the modeling and projection of humus layer properties and dynamics in forests, addressing climate change impacts. The successful candidate will engage in process-based and data-driven modeling, utilizing AI methods and remote sensing data to enhance understanding of humus dynamics. Candidates should have a completed PhD in relevant fields and experience in ecosystem modeling and machine learning. The position offers a full-time contract for initially 2 years, with potential extension, and is part of an interdisciplinary team.
