Postdoctoral Researcher in Cellular Mechanisms of Alzheimer's Disease

We are seeking a qualified and motivated postdoctoral researcher to explore new astrocyte-mediated mechanisms of spread in Alzheimer's disease. The research will focus on characterizing how pathological deposits in astrocytes are influenced by copper and generating antibodies that recognize astrocyte-modified amyloid-beta. The work will primarily involve studies of pathological protein aggregates in hiPSC-derived cell systems and analyses of human material from Alzheimer's patients.
