About this opening

The Scott Polar Research Institute at the University of Cambridge is looking for a Research Associate to join the Novo Nordisk Foundation-funded iso-eDNA project. The role involves investigating trophic relationships and large herbivore-vegetation interactions in Arctic tundra ecosystems, particularly focusing on caribou and muskox in West Greenland and reindeer in Svalbard. The successful candidate will analyze stable isotope data from ecological samples, contribute to fieldwork in Greenland, and support publications. A relevant PhD and experience in stable isotope ecology and collaborative research are required. This is a full-time, fixed-term position for 18 months based in Cambridge, with research stays and fieldwork in Greenland.
