The dissertation is part of the PEPR CARAMELS research project, which aims to study the detection of electromagnetic fields using Rydberg atoms as part of a French consortium. The study at the Laboratoire Aimé Cotton will focus specifically on ytterbium atoms, involving both theoretical and experimental studies of electromagnetically induced transparency signals in ytterbium and their analysis in terms of field detection in the context of an ultra-cold atom experiment.
