Senior Research Associate in Polymicrobial Interactions

This position focuses on studying antifungal and dual-purpose effectors elicited by the bacterial Type VI secretion system. The successful candidate will employ a multi-pronged approach to identify novel antifungal/dual-purpose effectors and determine the molecular basis of their anti-fungal action. The role is part of a collaborative team across five institutions, aiming to enhance understanding of T6SS mediated anti-fungal activity. A PhD in a relevant field is required.
