Postdoctoral Position at the Institute of Biosciences and Biotechnology in Aix-Marseille

This postdoctoral position focuses on improving the homogeneity of bacteria-induced calcium carbonate precipitation within micro- and millifluidic environments. The project will investigate the influence of biopolymers and medium formulations on bacterial transport and mineral precipitation. The researcher will lead laboratory tasks including bacteria cultivation and microfluidic device preparation, and will collaborate with international partners. A PhD in chemistry or materials science is required, along with expertise in microscopy and fluidic device design.
