The Department of Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology (MCDB) at the University of Michigan invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position. The successful candidate will be expected to establish a vigorous, extramurally funded research program and provide instruction to both undergraduate and graduate students. We welcome applications from outstanding biological scientists in all areas of cellular/molecular biology in prokaryotes, plants, and animals. The position starts on August 25, 2027, or January 1, 2028. Required qualifications include holding a Ph.D. and a commitment to transformative research and teaching.
