University Assistant Postdoc

The University of Vienna is looking for a University Assistant Postdoc in the Faculty of Philological and Cultural Studies, starting from August 3, 2026, for a duration of 3.5 months. The successful candidate will engage in research, teaching, and administration, developing an independent research profile in Anglophone Literatures and/or Cultures, including intersectionality, postcolonial theory, and gender studies. Responsibilities include participation in research projects, international publication, teaching BA and MA students, and administrative tasks. Applicants should have a completed PhD in Anglophone Literature and/or Cultural Studies, a strong dissertation, and excellent English skills.
