The University of Copenhagen is looking for a motivated Postdoctoral researcher to join the Deshmukh Group at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Basic Metabolic Research. This position focuses on studying the role of plasma proteins in human metabolic health and disease. The successful candidate will map the plasma proteome in human samples across various health conditions and validate selected candidates using cell-based assays and animal models. Candidates should have a PhD in relevant fields and experience in proteomics, metabolism, and molecular biology. The fellowship is part of an international program and is open to applicants with a PhD from outside Denmark or those with a Danish PhD who have research experience abroad. The position is full-time for 2 years, with a starting date of November 15, 2026.
