Vascular Research Fellow

The Newcastle Vascular Research Group is seeking a Clinical Research Fellow (MD) in Vascular Surgery. This role involves conducting research on acute limb ischaemia, chronic limb-threatening ischaemia, and peripheral arterial disease. The successful candidate will work within a multidisciplinary team and contribute to nationally funded clinical trials. This position offers the opportunity to pursue an MD degree while gaining valuable experience in clinical research methodology and trial delivery. Candidates should have a strong interest in vascular surgery, experience in clinical research, and excellent communication skills. The post is available for 12 months on a fixed-term basis, starting in October 2026.
