Assistant Professor, Medieval European History

Yale University's Department of History and Humanities Program invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor in medieval European history, anticipated to start on July 1, 2027. The successful candidate will teach four courses per academic year, focusing on medieval European history while also engaging in broader premodern global or comparative history. A Ph.D. or equivalent degree is required by June 1, 2027. Applications should include a cover letter, CV, teaching and research statements, a writing sample, and three letters of reference.
