Join the Neural Mechanisms of Natural Behavior Research Group at the Max Planck Institute for Biological Intelligence to explore the neural mechanisms of avian biosonar behavior. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on an HFSP-funded project that investigates how birds process sensory information during echolocation. Candidates for the PhD position should have a MSc in relevant fields, while postdoc candidates must hold a PhD and have expertise in in-vivo electrophysiology. The role includes field research in Colombia and offers a supportive international research environment with excellent training opportunities.
