Research Associate (Aspergillus fumigatus)

The Bromley and Bertuzzi Laboratories within the Manchester Fungal Infection Group (MFIG) are looking for a laboratory-based Research Associate to work on a project funded by the Fleming Initiative. The project focuses on exploring drug target prioritisation in the human pathogen Aspergillus fumigatus. The successful candidate will perform functional genomics screens, generate sub-libraries of isolates, and conduct animal infection studies. Candidates should have a relevant PhD or be about to obtain one, along with experience in microbial culture and molecular biology techniques.
