The Functional Optoelectronic Nanomaterials Group at ICFO is looking for a highly motivated Project Researcher Engineer to lead the development and synthesis of advanced colloidal quantum dots and related nanomaterials. The successful candidate will play a central role in the group’s research programs, supporting a broad portfolio of activities in photonics and optoelectronics. Responsibilities include optimizing synthesis protocols, producing high-quality nanomaterials, training researchers, and contributing to scientific publications. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field, with proven experience in colloidal nanomaterial synthesis. The position offers an indefinite contract linked to the INFRADOT project, with initial employment until January 2028 and potential for extension.
