Postdoctoral Scholar in the Department of Mechanical Engineering

The Department of Mechanical Engineering at The Pennsylvania State University is seeking a Postdoctoral Scholar under the direction of Dr. Yuan Xuan. The candidate will develop digital twin systems using multi-physics simulations of 2D material synthesis chambers, validate and calibrate the digital twins against experimental measurements, and use the digital twins for process optimization. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field by the appointment start date. Employment requires successful completion of background checks.
