Assistant Professor in Medicinal Chemistry or Pharmacology

The Department of Natural Sciences at the University of Michigan-Dearborn invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Chemistry with expertise in Medicinal Chemistry, Chemical Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacology, or a closely related field. The successful candidate will hold a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a closely related field by the start date, with postdoctoral or equivalent research experience. They are expected to establish and maintain a sustainable, externally funded research program, including peer-reviewed publications and active engagement of undergraduate and graduate students. Teaching responsibilities include organic chemistry and graduate-level courses such as Biochemical Pharmacology, with a teaching load of 2:2.
