Postdoctoral Researcher in Stochastic Thermodynamics

The CNRS-funded postdoctoral position at ENS de Lyon focuses on stochastic thermodynamics of micro-mechanical resonators interacting with a thermal bath and external control potentials. The role involves quantifying energy exchanges (work, heat), analyzing resonator temperature evolution, and interpreting information roles under feedback. The position includes both theoretical and experimental components, such as optimizing feedback systems, conducting low-noise measurements, data analysis, and modeling within stochastic thermodynamics and information theory. The successful candidate will contribute to writing reports and scientific articles, present at international conferences, and may supervise internships or PhD students.
