Professor of Accounting (Assistant or Associate)

The McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin is seeking applications for two full-time positions in the Shulkin Department of Accounting. These positions are open to candidates for tenure-track assistant professor or tenured associate professor roles, starting in the academic year 2027-2028. Applicants with financial-archival research interests are particularly encouraged to apply. Successful candidates will be expected to establish a recognized research program, mentor graduate students, and teach at both undergraduate and graduate levels. The positions require in-person instruction and research, necessitating residency in the area. Candidates should have strong research and teaching capabilities, with a Ph.D. either completed or nearing completion by the appointment start date.
