This position involves the epitaxial growth of iron (Fe) and cobalt (Co) thin films using physical vapor deposition (PVD) and their characterization. The aim is to prepare high-quality model systems to investigate ultrafast magnetization dynamics. The successful candidate will optimize growth protocols, control film properties, and perform structural and magnetic characterization. Experience in thin-film growth and characterization techniques is essential, along with a PhD in a relevant field. Good written and spoken English is required.
