The Heller Lab at the Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania, is looking for two postdoctoral researchers to investigate how epigenetic remodeling affects gene function in neuropsychiatric disorders like addiction and depression. Candidates should have a PhD, MD, or MD/PhD and expertise in neurobiology or molecular biology. Knowledge in protein biochemistry, chromatin biology, and bioinformatics is encouraged. The lab utilizes innovative techniques such as CRISPR/dCas9-fusion proteins to manipulate gene modifications in vivo. Applications will be reviewed immediately and will continue until the positions are filled.
