Tenure-track Assistant Professor of Modern Chinese History

The Department of History at the University of Pennsylvania invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Modern Chinese History, starting July 1, 2027. Candidates should have a completed doctoral degree in history or a closely related discipline by the time of appointment. The successful candidate will teach courses including a survey on modern China and will be expected to engage in research and mentoring.
