Postdoctoral Research Associate in Biology

This postdoctoral position offers an opportunity to work on a project funded by the Wellcome Trust, aimed at developing genetically modified mosquitoes that are less capable of transmitting viruses such as chikungunya. The successful candidate will analyze vector-virus interactions and contribute to the development of field-usable methods for reducing virus transmission. Candidates should have a PhD in a relevant biological science and experience with pathogenic viruses. The nominal start date is October 2026, but this is negotiable.
