With the "Gulliver" Tomography Portal — funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) under the initiative “Computed Tomography for Investigating Load-Bearing Components under Increasing Loads” — a globally unique research facility is starting its scientific trial operation (https://rptu.de/projekte/gulliver). As part of establishing this innovative research area, a Postdoctoral Research Position (m/f/d) is available at the Institute of Concrete Structures and Structural Design (Professorship for Structural Design and Precast Construction). The Gulliver Tomography Portal enables, for the first time, high-resolution three-dimensional non-destructive testing and analysis of load-bearing structural components under realistic stress and loading conditions, opening up brand-new research avenues in engineering and materials science.
