The EVOGEN team at the Institut de Biologie Intégrative de la Cellule is looking for a motivated postdoctoral researcher to investigate the function of the HP1D2 protein in Drosophila spermatogenesis. The project aims to elucidate the molecular basis of sex-ratio meiotic drive, a phenomenon affecting inheritance patterns. The researcher will utilize techniques such as CUT&Tag and TurboID proximity-labeling to characterize HP1D2's role and its interactions. This position offers collaboration opportunities with Aarhus University and is funded through an ATIP-Avenir grant.
