Postdoctoral Researcher – tRNA Modifications and Stress Adaptation in Clinical *Escherichia coli* Strains

The successful candidate will explore how post-transcriptional modifications of tRNAs affect stress adaptation in clinical strains of *Escherichia coli*. The project involves experimental microbiology, bacterial genetics, CRISPRi, and bioinformatics to identify genetic determinants of stress responses. Responsibilities include constructing bacterial strains, developing phenotypic assays, and analyzing genomic data. The position is part of the 'Epitranscriptional Responses to Antimicrobial Stress' team at the IBPC in Paris, focusing on bacterial adaptation mechanisms.
