Assistant Professor - Department of Anthropology

The Department of Anthropology at the University of Massachusetts Amherst is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Language and Wellbeing, expected to start on September 1, 2027. The ideal candidate will be a linguistic/cultural anthropologist with a strong research background in how language influences wellbeing, including aspects of health and human flourishing.
